Coconut Head - Sun

Handmade in Mexico City. These Quirky Coconut Heads are a favourite of ours, and  our growing collection look wonderful hung in a group. 

This beaming Sun Head really does add a ray of sunshine to your life.  Made using delicate clay moulding to form the rays and hand painting.

Made by Nahuatl artists who live in the Mezcala region in the Guerrero State of Mexico, Coconut shell masks have been made in Mexico since the 1950's. Made using coconuts, papier mache, paint, varnish and straw.

Each product is handmade so there are likely to be variations in both colour and size.
