Kala Rama - Hand Painted Drum Lampshade - 28cm diameter

Our New Kala Rama Collection has been hand painted exclusively for us by Artisans in a Craft Community in Gujarat.  We love the clever use of bold geometric designs. 

COTTON | Sustainable organic cotton that is water efficient and almost carbon neutral.  The community of artisans use a rain fed crop of cotton that uses no chemical fertilizers or pesticides. The cotton is then traditionally woven and painted using natural vegetable dyes mixed with castor oil which is then applied carefully with a metal rod.

Drum shape | Diameter 28cm, Height 20cm.  Taped Edges, Parchment lining.  

Duplex fitting - this means that the shade can be used as a table lampshade when fitted with a shade carrier or a ceiling shade when fitted with a 'spider'.  Ceiling fittings also come with a removable Paper diffuser.  Please make sure you have clicked which fitting your would prefer.  (See gallery for details of paper diffuser).
