{"product_id":"saturday-art-sessions","title":"Course of Saturday ART SESSIONS - Chafyn Grove - 26th Sep - 5th Dec","description":"\u003cp\u003eExplorative Art classes taught by Jamie Clark MA, at Chafyn Grove Art Department, Salisbury.  26th Sep - 5th Dec (excluding 24th Oct)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSessions from 10am-12.30 for ages 7-11\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSessions from 13.30- 16.00 for ages 12-16\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Course is sold as a block of 10 sessions - we will not be able to reimburse any missed sessions.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJamie is an experienced Art teacher with 17 years teaching in Primary and Secondary schools.  He is also a practicing stained glass artist and believes strongly in the importance of building creative confidence, alongside observational skills and an overall appreciation and love of art.  These days will be fun and informal, they are a chance for your child to explore and develop their creativity, no prior experience is necessary and enjoyment is the primary aim.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn both sessions there will be a maximum of 10 children.  The classes will be held at the Chafyn Grove site of Chafyn Godolphin, Salisbury and will focus on a different approach to drawing painting or printmaking each week. Techniques will include ink and wash drawing, various printmaking techniques, Gouache and Watercolour, Oil Pastels and Charcoal, Ceramics and sculptural form. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe afternoon sessions are an ideal opportunity for children to expand on skills and develop a more investigative and independent approach to creativity.
