A sensitively worked piece of applique depicting motherly figures carrying their children. Thin widths of hand dyed piping are stitched down onto a beautiful saffron yellow backing. Gujarati text is expertly embroidered onto the cloth and abstract tree forms placed on the right hand side.

The embroidery is stretched over acid free mount board and sits in a solid oak frame with a sheet of Clearview Plexiglas to protect the embroidery.
