The size and colour of these bowls vary slightly as each is handmade. These bowls are rustic and not for the perfectionists in this world. The clay can be rough on the bottom as well as within the body of the bowl, the glaze can have small imperfections and sometimes they are not perfectly round and have a slight unevenness on the base. But they are a workhorse in the kitchen and a truly beautiful handmade object. Handmade in the South West of France, these rustic bowls epitomize the French aesthetic that is so popular. Produced in a pottery that dates back 3 generations which still uses the original wood-fired kiln and clay found surrounding the studio these dishes are full of history and something that we hope you will use for years and years.
