With a maximum of 10 children, the classes will focus on a different approach to drawing, painting or printmaking each day. Techniques will include Ink and wash drawing, various printmaking techniques, Gouache and Watercolour, Oil Pastels and Charcoal techniques.
Classes will be taught by Jamie Clark MA, an experienced Art teacher with 17 years teaching in Primary and Secondary schools. He is also a practicing stained glass artist and believes strongly in the importance of building creative confidence along side observational skill and an overall appreciation and love of art. These days will be fun and informal, they are a chance for your child to explore and develop their creativity, no prior experience is necessary and enjoyment is the primary aim.
Each 4 day Course, will be held in the beautiful location of Lower Lawn Barns, near Tisbury, SP3 6SG. It is the home of Compton Marbling and the venue for the very popular and well established 'Clem's Fairs'. You can choose to join us either in the mornings or the afternoons.
Once your booking has been made you will receive a confirmation email with further details. We will ask you to fill in a form making us aware of any health or access/special arrangements that your child has. Jamie looks forward very much to a fun, creative 4 days.
