Front of Cushion is Hand Embroidered in a woman's Cooperative in Mexico and finished in our workshop in Wiltshire. The embroidery is worked in cotton on a cream cotton fabric.
These Summer Daisy design cushions are a collaboration between Montes & Clark and the women of the Otomi Cooperative in Mexico. We have proudly worked with them for over 10 years now and among some of the work they showed us last year was a cloth full of isolated daisy motifs. It was stylistically very different to the more familiar Otomi cloths that they produce and grabbed our attention. We asked them if they could take this motif and apply it to individually worked pieces in specific colours. We are thrilled with the collection that brings both Summer and Winter into your home.
Back of cushion is a cotton yellow stripe, Cotton scalloped edging, Covered zip at base, Feather Pad included.
Cover can be washed in the washing machine and loves a steam iron when dry.
